Who we are
SymphonicGrow (symphonicgrow.com) is a design and development studio. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and our client dashboard, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
Privacy policies for the apps we publish (such as Ave) are separate and live on their own pages, because each app has its own — usually much stricter — data practices.
What we collect
Contact and project inquiries: when you submit a form on this site, we receive what you type — typically your name, email address, and message, and optionally your company, phone number, service interest, and budget range. We use it to respond to you, and for nothing else.
Website chat: if you use the chat widget, the messages you send are stored so we can read and answer them, and so the conversation survives a page reload.
Client dashboard: if you become a client, we create an account for you (name, email, and a securely hashed password or your sign-in provider identity). The dashboard stores the working content of your project — milestones, files you upload, messages, meeting bookings, invoices, and payment status.
Technical data: to prevent spam and abuse, our form endpoints keep a short-lived, one-way hashed version of your IP address for rate limiting. Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, pages requested).
What we don't do
We run no advertising and no third-party ad trackers, and we don't sell or rent your data to anyone. Any usage statistics we look at are collected by our own systems, not by an advertising network.
We never see or store card numbers. Payments are processed by our payment provider, which handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
Essential cookies support sign-in and security. If you allow optional analytics, first-party cookies identify a browser for up to 30 days and a visit for 30 minutes of inactivity. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. Use Privacy choices on public pages to withdraw consent; this stops future collection and removes the analytics cookies. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Optional website analytics
With your consent, we record public page paths, visit times, a random browser identifier, referral origin, campaign labels and broad browser/device categories. When a trusted hosting header is configured, full IP addresses are kept for seven days, then removed, leaving only a masked address (IPv4 /24 or IPv6 /48) for the remainder of the 30-day analytics history. We exclude signed-in users and private account pages. We do not store referral query strings or use fingerprinting.
Detailed analytics are kept for up to 30 days, with scheduled cleanup and cleanup when tracking or the analytics dashboard runs. The records help us understand which pages are useful and how visitors find the studio. Returning browsers are not verified individuals, and referral information can be missing. Declining analytics does not prevent using the website.
Where your data lives and who touches it
Your data is stored with the infrastructure providers that run this site — our hosting platform, database, file storage, and email delivery service — each acting under contract as a processor. We share data with them only as needed to operate the service, and with no one else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Inquiries and chat messages are kept for as long as they're useful for responding to you and keeping a record of our conversation. Client dashboard data is kept for the duration of our working relationship and a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll take care of it — there's no form or process to fight through.
Children
This website and the client dashboard are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, this page will be updated with a new effective date. Meaningful changes that affect existing clients will also be communicated directly.
