Inkwell

A clean, fast PDF editor for annotations, signing, and quick edits. Tools for organizing and working with PDFs.

01 / THE CONTEXT

A reason
to build.

Inkwell is the PDF editor we wished existed — fast, clean, and focused. A focused interface with a focused set of tools. Just the tools you actually need: annotate, highlight, sign, fill forms, merge, and export.

Built for people who work with PDFs daily but don't want to wrestle with Adobe. Inkwell brings PDF organization and editing into one interface.

02 / THE CHALLENGE

What needed
to change.

Every PDF editor was either bloated and expensive (Adobe), ad-ridden (free alternatives), or missing key features. Users wanted a simple, fast app that handled annotations, signatures, and basic editing — with a focused interface or unnecessary complexity.

03 / THE SOLUTION

Thought through.
Built through.

We built a native iOS app with a clean, minimal interface — Home, AI tools, PDF tools, and Settings. The app organizes PDFs with tabs (Recent, All PDFs, Favourites), opens PDF files, and provides annotation, signing, and editing tools without clutter. AI-powered features add smart capabilities without complicating the core experience.
