to build.

Kognit is a mobile quiz platform that turns learning into a social experience. Create quiz rooms, invite friends via room codes, or browse public games to join — all in real time.

Beyond casual play, Kognit supports campaigns (scheduled quiz events), detailed stats tracking, and leaderboards that keep players coming back. Teachers use it for classrooms, brands use it for trivia events, and friends use it to settle debates.

02 / THE CHALLENGE

What needed
to change.

Existing quiz apps were either too educational and boring (Quizlet) or too casual and shallow (trivia games). There was no platform that combined real-time multiplayer competition with the ability to create and host custom quizzes for any context — classroom, team building, or just fun.

03 / THE SOLUTION

We built a native iOS app with real-time WebSocket-powered quiz rooms, a room creation flow, public room discovery, campaign scheduling, and detailed per-player stats. The UI is warm and inviting with smooth animations, with multiplayer quiz sessions.
